| On 5th October, 2009, Ministry of Knowledge and Economics of Korea announced its budget plan amounting to KRW 1.5 trillion for the next decade until 2020 to build smart grid infrastructure in Korea. It is estimated 17 million smart meters for new installation and replacement of old electric mechanical meters will be demanded by KEPCO for the purpose. Xelline believes that it will be the best beneficiary of the project as the meters are required to be equipped with PLC AMR modules which Xeline has focused on developing for 6 years. |
